About the Programme
‘Afterimage’ is a recurring series that presents moving image works that cross formal and conceptual boundaries, such as hybrid documentaries, essay films, video art, and experimental cinema. Featuring both foundational and emerging figures, the series spotlights artists’ figurative and abstract investigations into alternative histories and speculative futures. Like an afterimage, an original film language or pioneering perspective can linger on in surprising ways, inspiring creative thinking beyond the screen.
‘Afterimage’ is supported by M+ Major Partner CHANEL.
