Experience the healing power of art, yoga, and mindfulness at M+.

Mindfulness can be practised in many different forms. Museums can also be sites for mindful practices and self-care. M+ is delighted to celebrate the worldwide Slow Art Day through a half-day art and mindfulness experience. Led by experienced yoga teacher and art educator Lau Tin Ming and M+ Educators, this comprehensive and immersive experience is designed to help participants reconnect with their physical and mental wellbeing through the medium of art and creativity. This event engenders contemplative experiences that allow for open, profound engagement with artworks through the integration of body and creativity.

You will be able to experience the following:

  • Centre your mind and body with a calming yoga session.
  • Practice slow looking that encourages mindful observation and deeper appreciation of art.
  • Express yourselves while fostering self-care through an art-making workshop with different materials.

This event is suitable for people with all experience levels and with different abilities.
