M+ Teacher Roundtable
M+ Teacher Roundtable
We believe museums can become long-term teaching partners with teachers. Through cross-disciplinary collaboration and exchange, M+ seeks to work with educators from different fields to constitute a greater pool of knowledge, and to offer students learning experiences that are deeply relevant to our lives today.
The M+ Roundtable is formed by curators from the M+ Learning and Interpretation Team and teachers from various local schools. It serves as a platform for continuous professional development for teachers, while providing diverse learning resources for M+ Curators and Educators, and commissioned artists and designers for the museum’s learning programmes.
On a regular basis, members of the roundtable, the M+ team, and artists in the field of visual culture will share their teaching experiences and reflections, taking inspiration from one another’s practice. This exchange sheds light on the intersections between different disciplines and opens new possibilities in museum education and cultural learning.
M+ has invited eleven teachers to become members of the roundtable in 2023 to 2024. We would like to extend our warmest thank you for their support and to our roundtable members from the previous years for their contributions.
Roundtable Members
M+ is dedicated to maintaining ongoing partnerships with schools. We invite teachers and students to take part in the learning activities of our pilot programmes for them to share their thoughts on learning content and materials that are yet to be released, which will help us to refine M+ School Programmes. We welcome teachers who are interested in taking part to contact us via email [email protected].
