Meet the Makers:
Off-Site Conversations and Tours

This event is for participants aged 16 and above.

The workshop ticket consists of two components: an off-site conversation and a guided tour at M+.

M+ will offer guided visits to the exhibition Making It Matters at designated timeslots. Tour schedule can be found below.

Making It Matters follows the process of making from concept and research to design and fabrication, as well as the social networks that link each step. In Hong Kong, local makers actively seek out home-grown resources and strive to cultivate diverse communities. The process of making matters because the connections we build through craft and creativity are vital to the city's collective identity.

This spring, we invite you to step beyond the museum walls and engage with the process of making in action. This new series will feature conversations between M+ curators and four local artisans, offering insights into homegrown creative practices and the people who have brought them to life.

Off-Site Conversations and Tours

Guided Tours by M+ Educators on Making It Matters

In addition to conversations taking place in the makers’ studios and workplaces, M+ is offering guided tours exclusive to ticket holders of the series. Led by M+ Educators, the tours serve as an opportunity for participants to build a deeper connection with the museum and key messages of Making It Matters.

Ticket holders can feel free to join any one of the following sessions in a drop-in manner; no registration is required.
