View of barefoot adults and children engaging in an interactive game in an area with faux wood flooring and a handrail mounted on the pale yellow wall in the background. In the centre, two adults and a child in between hold hands to form a circle. The child's arms are crossed while the adult in a light pink T-shirt facing away from the viewer appears to go under one arm. On the viewer's left, a figure with long hair looks down at a child kneeling on all fours.

What does a museum mean to a child?

If you asked a child to sketch a museum, would it be a quirky drawing full of joy, anger, and sorrow?

In this journey at M+, we invite young visitors to observe with their eyes and explore with their senses. Enjoy an interactive game where visitors will transform their body parts into art tools and create an artwork using the space around us. M+ is a paradise where you can let you imagination fly high! Learn to understand visual culture from your child's point of view. They may just see more than you can!

The workshop is recommended for children ages three to eight. Children must be accompanied by an adult. One adult may bring up to one child participant at a time.

Logo of Moving Playground. Logo consisting of two rows of traditional Chinese characters underneath a blue canopy tent formed by four curved lines—one on each side and two for the canopy, which features a loop in the centre. The two blue Chinese characters in the upper row mean 'body'. White segments outlined in blue construct the three Chinese characters that mean 'playground' in the lower row. The logo has a white background. Image courtesy of the artist.
