Jud Yalkut (1938–2013, United States) was a pioneering intermedia artist whose works ranged from performance videos to poetic film experiments, to groundbreaking hybrid video-films made in collaboration with Nam June Paik. Merging film, video, expanded cinema, electronic manipulation, performance, and installation art, Yalkut was indispensable to many of the leading artists, filmmakers, musicians, and performers of New York City’s avant-garde.
