This set of stamps depicts six major buildings or projects which are being constructed or will be completed in 1989: Hong Kong University of Science and Technology ($0.6), Hong Kong Cultural Centre ($0.7), Eastern Harbour Crossing ($1.3), Bank of China Tower ($1.4), Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre ($1.8) and Light Rail Transit System ($5), designer: Mr. Ian Leung; printer: CPE Australia Ltd.
