WORK/Theseus Chan Ephemera WORK/陳益短期印刷品
The WORK/Theseus Chan Ephemera comprises 16 items of ephemera relating to Singaporean graphic artist Theseus Chan (born 1961), cutting across the discipline of art, design and fashion. 15 of the items cover three projects: the Club 21 installation project (2002–2003) in Singapore, the Singapore Biennale 2006 Project and the Wunderkind Project (2010) in Paris. Additionally the ephemera contains a poster for Theseus Chan: WERK No. 20 Ginza the Extremities of the Printed Matter exhibition.
The branding and design of the inaugural Singapore Biennale entitled “Belief” was one of WORK’s most successful and influential commercial projects. Its guerrilla/graffiti-art themed identity and collateral design communicates the integration of art into the urban fabric and everyday life.
The WORK/Theseus Chan Ephemera was donated by WORK in 2015.
