Ephemera and advertisement, Ocean Terminal 海運大廈短期印刷品及廣告
The Ocean Terminal opened in Tsim Sha Tsui in 1966 to allow international cruise liners to dock. It was the first air-conditioned shopping complex in Hong Kong. Its car park was also convenient for passengers travelling across the harbour on the Star Ferry before the opening of the Cross Harbour as well as on the Kowloon–Canton Railway. Graphic Communication Limited developed the visual identity for the Ocean Terminal inspired by marine flag suggesting its connection to regions far and near. This series includes stationery and promotional items, totalling some 10 objects from the 1960s.
This series is part of the Henry Steiner Project Archives.
