Early architectural projects 早期建築項目
This sub-fonds consists of Wang’s early architectural designs published in various architectural journals and photographs of architectural model for one of the design. From the publication dates, it is estimated that these works were mainly designed during Wang’s period in the USA: ‘Variety of houses from identical prefabricated units of general panel crop’ and 'Designs for postwar living' came out of his student work at Harvard University; 'The atrium town house' and 'For civilized ablutions and submerged meditation' were possibly designed when he was working at the Embassy of China to the USA in Washington, D.C.; and ‘Small House’, with limited information, is conjectured to have been designed around 1945–1949, before or after his move to Shanghai in 1947.
This sub-fonds is part of the Wang Dahong Archive.
