Drawings and document, Bond Centre (now Lippo Centre) (1984–1988), Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong 香港金鐘道奔達中心(現為力寶中心)(1984至1988年)繪圖及文件
This series consists of 70 drawings and 3 documents of the Bond Centre project. The construction of the twin towers commenced in 1986 and was completed in 1988. They are situated at the Queensway in Admiralty, Hong Kong.
The towers are connected by a podium at the ground level, which is bridged with other commercial buildings through the elevated walkway system. After being acquired by a new company, they have been renamed to Lippo Centre.
Most of the series are sketches that focus on the details on the podium level, including the design of glass canopy, elevator, granite waterfall, bridges, etc. The others are renderings, in which some show the alternative design of the twin towers. For related documents, they include a note to study by Rudolph and letters from the architect to Pontiac Land.
Arranged by original reference number.
