Archival material, study of Shenzhen’s urban villages: Gangxia Village, Shenzhen, China 中國深圳城中村研究:崗廈村檔案資料
Urbanus studied and delivered the proposal of rehabilitation for Gangxia Village, which covers over 400,000 sqm of dense residential buildings, in 2005. By partial demolition and infilling facilities, it made an effort to better lay out the functionalities of each roads in the districts. The objectives were to boost the property value in Gangxia, while preserving the existing social network. This series consists of five sub-series arranged by work type.
