This sub-fonds consists of archival material related to twenty-seven architectural projects designed by Wang Dahong after his move to Taiwan and establishment of his own practice Dahong Wang & Associates in 1953, and continuing until his retirement around 1995. The architectural designs include both built and unbuilt projects in different categories, for example residential projects such as the Architect’s House on Jianguo South Road (1952–1953), the Hong Lu Apartments (circa 1964), the Hong Ying Apartments (1979); educational buildings like the First Student Activity Centre (circa 1960–circa 1962) of National Taiwan University, the Institute of Molecular Biology (1984–1986) of Academia Sinica; public works like the National Dr Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (1965–1972); as well as other remarkable unbuilt designs such as the National Palace Museum in Taiwan and Selene, Monument to Man's Conquest of the Moon in the USA.
